Firstly, you must take 6 photographs of the item. The 6 photos need to represent what you wish to sell— 

NOTE: Must include a photo of the license disk and odometer.

Make sure the phone lens is clean and take the photograph with the sun behind you with not too many things in the background.

WhatsApp the photographs with a full description of the item to 068 138 8111, or you can email to info@lwa.auction 

It is very important to grade the item according to our classification and provide a reserve price.

A. Excellent—start and go with some items under factory warranty

B. Good condition but attention required—a list of issues will be provided 

C. Fair and salvageable

You need to provide your personal information and where the item is located—the nearest town is good enough. Your personal information will NOT be published.

Once LWA Auctioneers have an offer, you will be notified. You can then accept or decline the offer.

NOTE: The commission of 5% is applicable to the selling price once sold, and you must provide all necessary registration papers on request. 

All transactions will be facilitated via LWA Auctioneers. This is not a sole mandate, but you have to notify LWA Auctioneers if you have sold the item. Once you have accepted an LWA Auctioneers offer, the item is considered sold and cannot be offered anymore. 

The item or items can be kept on the farm but must be available for viewing on an appointment basis. You could also park the items at LaatWaai Afslaers for free. It’s safe, and security will be provided. Transport to LaatWaai Akslaers in Sundra for your account. 

At the top of each listing is an LWA lot number—note the item's grade in the last character.

Once you have identified the item or items that you would like to make an offer on, simply WhatsApp 068 138 8111 with the LWA Lot number and your offer, and we will contact you— NOTE: This is not a life auction; it’s just you saying I am interested, and we will start negotiating.

Once you have made an offer, it will be communicated to the seller, and LWA Auctioneers will facilitate the sale if the offer is accepted. 

We will host four quarterly LWA auctions at LaatWaai Afslaers where you can register on the day, but if you see an item in the booklet that you like, follow these steps and secure the item immediately. 

All items are sold “voetstoots” unless there is a transferrable factory warrantee on a Grade A item, that LWA Auctioneers will make available as part of the sale 

On Grade B items, LWA Auctioneers will make available a list of issues. It will not be comprehensive, but it will be enough to make an informed decision. You can make the offer subject to viewing. 

Once an offer has been accepted, you will need to make a full payment into LWA Auctioneers’ bank account within 48 hours. LWA Auctioneers will then facilitate the sale to completion.

It is your responsibility to remove the item from either the farm or LaatWaai Aflaers premises within 72 hours post the sale completion.
